The Master and the Doctor’s relationship is the most intriguing and complicated of anyone’s relationship in Doctor Who in my opinion. The Doctor wants to stop him, but also just wants him to live and use his greatness for achieving good. The Doctor wants to go on knowing there is another Time Lord in existence and that he doesn’t carry the burden of time all on his shoulders. Then when you meet the other Time Lords in “The End of Time Part 2” you understand much more as to why the Master is the way he is and actually sympathize with him.

When I couldn’t stop watching Downton Abbey I made this some ecard. I love Downton Abbey so much, but the consequences for women’s actions back then seemed so radical to me. Every lady I know would be a ruined whore, by how society declared it back then. At least today a lady can be a whore for some time grow out of it and then be a devoted wife in a loving relationship. There’s something sweet and touching about the women on the show saving everything for marriage, but then there’s also something unrealistic and naeve about it. I just feel like if you save feeling everything for one person how will you know without a doubt what makes them the right person? Of course, you’ll feel it, but having not much else to compare it to you might not realize how truly spectacular some things that person does are or on the other hand, you might not realize how much better you could be treated.
